How to Raise Your Vibration Lifeism

When we feel like we are not vibrating at a higher level, in some ways, we are stuck at a certain frequency, and we are not sure how to get out of that rut.

What does raising your vibration mean?

It's all about feeling good. When we are vibrating at a higher frequency than usual, we feel energized and excited about life—like we're ready to take on anything and conquer the world! When we're vibrating at a lower frequency than usual, we feel tired and stressed out—like our bodies are weighed down by gravity or something else heavy is keeping us down.

So how can we raise our vibrations? There are several ways to do that. Some of the methods mentioned below will instantly make you feel good, while others will require daily practice and commitment. Based on where you are in your life, pick the ones that resonate with you the most, and then revisit the list when you have mastered them. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, there is something on this list for everyone:

Give up the need to control everything

Sometimes, we all need to take a step back and let go of the things that are out of our control. We can feel like we are constantly trying to control everything around us, but sometimes it's just not possible. It's important to realize that you don't need to oversee everything. Let things fall in place. Sometimes, things will go wrong and that’s okay too. Everyone will learn to deal with issues that crop up over time.

By doing this, you are essentially showing your faith in the universe and raising your vibration. You trust the process of life and give the vibrations the time and space to work things out for you.

Practice kindness

By being kind to someone, you are literally pausing a negative vibration and passing on a positive one. These vibrations rebound back into our lives manifold. Being kind to someone is actually more beneficial to you than the person you are being kind towards. Performing random acts of kindness is a great way to raise your vibration.

With all that said, it is also important to remember to be kind to yourself. We often respond lovingly to everyone other than us. We are more critical of ourselves than anyone else. Observe your communication with yourself. And be gentler and kinder. Give yourself a break and be nice for a change. When you are not negative towards yourself, you raise your vibration.

Listen to music you love

Listening to music you love is one of the easiest ways to raise your vibration.

When you listen to music that makes you feel good, your brain releases dopamine, which makes you feel happy and energetic. This helps you maintain a higher vibration and feel better.

When we're listening to music we love, we can also focus on the lyrics—or as much as we can understand them—and let them speak to us in some way. If the lyrics are uplifting, they can lift our spirits and make us more optimistic about our lives.

If you are open to experimenting with music more, you can read up on binaural beats. According to research, when Yogi’s are in deep meditation, their minds are on a certain frequency. By listening to music at that frequency, we can achieve that level of meditation and raise our vibration.

Be thankful for what you have

It's easy to get caught up in the things we don't have, instead of being thankful for what we do. When you get into the habit of noticing and expressing gratitude for what you do have, your vibration will rise.

A great way to start is by making a list of everything that makes your life amazing—the people who love you and support you; the home or apartment where you live; all the money that comes into your life each month (even if it's just enough).

Once this list is complete, take some time every day to go through it and think about how grateful you are for those things. You can even write down a few sentences each night before bed saying, "I'm grateful for my friends," "I'm grateful I can pay my rent" or whatever else on your list feels noteworthy! This helps bring more positivity into your mind which will help raise your vibration.

Spend time with people you love

One of the best ways to raise your vibration is by spending time with people who make you feel good. This can mean going out to dinner with a friend who makes you laugh or taking a walk in the park with someone who respects your opinions and values. It's also important to surround yourself with things that inspire you—beautiful art, music, or even just the sight of nature—so that your mind gets filled with positive reminders.

When you're feeling down, it can be tempting to isolate yourself from others because it feels easier than dealing with their reactions when they see how sad or stressed out you are. But this isn't healthy for anyone involved—you need support from others as much as they need yours! When people offer their help or friendship during difficult times, accept it gratefully, and don't hesitate to reach out again if needed—you'll both benefit from these connections later on down the road!

Do things that make you feel good

It is often easy to get stuck in the rut of getting things done and doing things that are just chores. While it is important to take care of your responsibilities, it is also important to make some time to do things that you love.

Doing things that make YOU feel good is one of the best ways to raise your vibration and feel more connected to your inner power. It helps you connect with your higher purpose because feeling good will bring you in alignment with who you truly are.

Use aromatherapy, incense, and candles

Have you ever wondered why, when you walk into a store, the first thing you notice is the smell? There is a reason why temples, churches, cafes, and stores, all invest in how their location smells.

It's because your sense of smell is the most connected to your brain. Your brain has a special pathway dedicated to processing smells, and it's actually one of the most active parts of your brain when you encounter new things.

That's why aromatherapy can be so effective. When we use aromatherapy products, they help in raising our vibrations by calming our neural system instantly.

Spend time with nature

One of the best ways to raise our vibrations is to reconnect with nature. We can do this by taking a walk outside, or by going on a hike. We can also do it by sitting in a tree—or even by meditating in a garden.

Nature is filled with energy that we can tap into. It's the energy of creation itself, and when we spend time in nature, we're able to connect with that power more deeply than when we're indoors.

The more we do this, the more closely aligned we'll be with this universal energy source. And when we're more closely aligned with universal energy, then you know what happens: our vibrations rise!

Move your body

Raising your vibration is all about raising your level of energy and awareness. It helps you connect with yourself on a deeper level and allows you to experience life more fully. And one of the best ways to do this is by moving your body.

As soon as we start moving our bodies, we stimulate our nervous system—and when our nervous system gets stimulated, it sends messages back into our brains that tell us how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. That's because our brains are wired with receptors for endorphins (the hormone that makes us feel good) and dopamine (the hormone that gives us joy). So, when we move our bodies, we create an internal environment where these chemicals can be released more easily which in turn raises our vibrations.

Stay hydrated

This one is simple enough. We all know that our bodies are 70% water. Water transports all the necessary nutrients and even cleans up the toxins in our bodies. When we drink more water, we are nourishing ourselves and reducing the toxin build-up which can make us feel like our energies are stuck. By drinking more water, we are literally activating the flow of energy and vibrations in our bodies.

Hug and cuddle

There's something magical about a good hug and a warm cuddle. It's like your body is getting a full dose of love and energy, and it just makes you feel so good.

Touch is a great way to raise our vibration. Whether it's a hug from someone we love or a scratch behind the ears from our favorite furry friend, touch can have a profound effect on our mood and overall well-being. Touch releases oxytocin, which creates feelings of calmness and happiness. It also strengthens our bond with the other person involved.

Give back to society in small ways

Doing something for others without expecting anything in return makes us feel good about ourselves and as a result, raises our vibrations. When we think about giving back, we often think about sweeping gestures. But they don’t have to be. We have a really nicely written article on how you can contribute to society you live in simple ways.

Forgive yourself and others in your life

Forgiveness is a powerful tool for raising our vibrations. When we forgive someone, even ourselves, we are actually releasing the negative energies that have been stuck in our consciousness for years. And this release and letting go makes space in our lives for new things to come. This movement of energy can help immensely in raising our vibrations.

Go on a media diet

Just like it's important to watch what we eat and drink, it's equally important to watch what our mind is consuming. While there are several advantages of technology and media, it is also no secret that we are constantly fed bad news to keep us hooked on the media. Violent depictions in all movies and shows are on the rise, and we are imbibing a lot of this subconsciously. While this may feel harmless, it actually affects us quite viscerally.

When we are constantly just taking in violence, bad news, and negativity, we are creating resistance within ourselves. We make it harder for us to vibrate at a higher frequency and the constant removal of toxic thoughts that our subconscious must do holds us back manyfold and makes us feel stuck.

By going on a media diet, you will reduce the toxins that are coming into your subconscious mind. When that happens, you can use your energy to raise your vibrations.

Include humor in your life

When we watch a funny video or take in something that makes us laugh, our brain releases endorphins and dopamine, which makes us feel happy and relaxed. Humor can also help relieve pain by distracting people from their discomfort. All this positive biochemistry also helps us raise our vibrations, especially when we are stuck in rut. It’s the quickest way to get out of the funk.

Take a long bath

There is something very cleansing (literally) about a nice long bath. This is one of those instant tips to change the frequency of your vibrations when you are just getting in your own way throughout the day.

Learn to say no

Our culture has conditioned us to be productive and a yes-person all the time. It glorifies constant action. But we often forget that saying yes to something means that you are also saying no to another opportunity. If you are asked to do something but you know you can’t then just say no. Reducing stress and giving yourself the opportunity to just work on yourself will create space for it.

Declutter your space

In the last recommendation, we talked about decluttering your time. But it is also important to declutter your space. We often overlook the importance of the space around us. A clean and tidy space reduces energy stagnation, helps get things done efficiently, and we waste less time.

As we move to the digital age, it is also important to declutter your digital space. Just because we have unlimited storage does not mean we need to keep everything. Learn to let go. It is yet another way to show your faith in the universe and raise your vibrations as a result.

Practice affirmations

Affirmations raise our vibrations by helping us to focus on what we want instead of what we don't want. Our thoughts can be powerful—they attract things into our lives. When we think about something we don't have, it feels like it's missing from our life, so that energy is sent out into the universe as a request for more of that thing. But when we're thinking about what we do want, that energy becomes a request for more of it.

Journal your thoughts

There are several ways that journaling your thoughts can raise your vibrations. First, by journaling (the good and the bad), you are releasing a very strong emotional charge. If this charge is negative, you will instantly feel the lift in your spirits as soon as you “let it go” by writing it down.

If this charge is positive, you will be flooded with positive feelings which will in turn help you in raising your vibration.

Journaling, however, is a daily practice you must develop for it to be effective. It’s a long terms habit that can reap amazing rewards for years to come.

Practice self-care

A lot of what we have recommended above is part of the routine of self-care. While self-care can be a spa day, it can also be an investment in a practice that grounds you for years to come. We suggest you rethink what self-care really means for you (instead of what the media may be peddling).

When you’re more positive, you’re more open to receiving what you want. It’s also important to remember that even if things aren’t going the way you expect them to, that doesn’t mean there isn't something good and wonderful coming your way. Trust in yourself and trust in the Universe—you can do it!
