In the Depth of Winter Lifeism

If times are tough and all resources have dried up around you then you need to hear this. If the future looks dark and options seem to be dwindling, then treat this message as a sign. A signal to do what you've put off for so long.

Going within.

Develop your gut instinct instead of reacting to the situation. Learn to meditate and hone that instinct. Develop a practice that will make you stronger from the inside. It's about time.

Because if you are able to truly listen to yourself and develop that inner bond, you will never be alone. They say that what's on the outside is a reflection of what's on the inside. Have you taken a look recently to check in on the inside? What feelings have you been trying to bury, for years? Is it pain? Insecurity? Are you subconsciously adding more chaos to your life so you don't have to confront those feelings you've been hiding for years?

Quote by Albert Camus - Lifeism

If we take time to listen to ourselves and acknowledge all the feelings we are going through, the storm that is raging inside us calms down. It passes. With practice, these storms become shorter in duration and cause lesser chaos. Our minds learn that it is okay to feel all emotions, they are part and parcel of our life.

We learn to forgive others who have wronged us, and more importantly, we learn to forgive ourselves. This process beings the healing within us. We find our footing and start believing that deep down on the inside, we are going to be okay, no matter what. We find eternal sunshine in the depth of winter.

Embrace the warmth within, dear reader.
